Outcome A browser-based party game platform designed for quick access with no downloads required.

Sip 'N Sin is a browser-based party game platform designed for fast group play. Players do not need to download anything; they open the site, choose a mode and start playing from their phone or desktop.

The problem

Party games work best when there is almost no setup. The product needed to feel instant, mobile-friendly and replayable, while still having enough structure behind it to support multiple game modes, user-created content, premium decks and moderation.

The challenge was to build something that feels light for players but has proper product infrastructure behind the scenes.

What I built

  • A no-download party game experience that runs in the browser.
  • Four game modes: Party, Couples, Never Have I Ever and Trivia.
  • Multiple difficulty levels from casual sessions through to more intense decks.
  • User accounts with profiles, XP, lifetime gameplay stats and progression.
  • Custom deck creation so users can build and publish their own content.
  • Community submissions with approval and moderation workflows.
  • Premium content and subscriptions powered by Stripe.
  • An admin dashboard for analytics, revenue tracking, content moderation and account management.

Product thinking

The front end had to stay simple: pick a mode, gather the group and play. The complexity sits behind that experience, where the platform manages decks, users, subscriptions, submissions and moderation.

I built it as a product rather than a one-off game page. The PWA approach gives it a mobile-native feel, while the account and deck systems create reasons for people to return and build around their own group style.

Why it matters

Sip 'N Sin shows how I approach interactive products: start with the behaviour the user wants, then build the systems needed to support it properly. It combines gameplay, community content, monetisation and admin tooling in one product.

It also gives me a strong example of building beyond a static website into something with accounts, payments, moderation and live product operations.

Current platform

Sip 'N Sin is built as a modern web app using Next.js, Supabase, Vercel and Stripe, with a complete admin dashboard and PWA support for mobile play.
